Workshops

This is the place
for long thoughts.

This is the place for long thoughts, a time for reflection, a space for questions without ready answers. This isn't about hot takes or quick comments. Instead, we'll dive deep together and talk, thoughtfully.

Four Saturdays every month. Come to one. You might want to come to all of them after you've encountered this storytelling.

Upcoming Classes

The next few Saturdays.

Step into the story whenever you want. Every class is a complete scene.

Step One: The Ordinary World

Before anything disrupts, there is the life we were already living — comfortable, familiar, and quietly limiting. We look at the conditioned place: the old stories, the inherited roles, the self we built to fit. The story begins here, in the recognizing.

Second Saturday · Film

The Story in Film: Hamnet

Watch the film before we gather. Notice how the story structure unfolds, where the character crosses the threshold, where the ordeal arrives. Then we talk — slowly, carefully, the way great films deserve.

Third Saturday · Writing

Your Story on the Page

You don’t have to be anxious that you’re not a writer. Let go of those old stories by writing. I teach you a specific craft technique. We write for 15 minutes, share what we wrote. You will be amazed by what comes out.

Fourth Saturday · Community

Stories in Community Conversation

We gather and tell each other our stories. About the step we’re on, the month we’ve had, the things we’ve been carrying. Women leave feeling something they didn’t expect: relief. Heads nodding yes around the circle.

New Here?

These workshops are part of a year-long inward journey called the Story of the Tender-Hearted Warrior. You don't need to know anything about it to come to a class. You just need to show up.

The story structure has twelve steps — the same structure underneath every story that has ever moved you. Each month explores one step. You can join at any point in the year, from any Saturday, and find your footing. Most women start with a single class and keep coming back.

About Pricing

$25 suggested.
Pay what you can.

Each class has a suggested price of $25. If that's not possible right now, use a discount code at checkout — no explanation needed. That's why they're there.

If neither works, write to me. We'll find something that does. No one is turned away for financial reasons.

Let me tell you a story about a story that cracked me open.
A film that matched the precise shade of my particular grief. A book that showed me a world I didn't know existed. A woman whose life is a masterclass in becoming. Music that shifted into a minor key and suddenly I understood something I couldn't name before.

We are storytelling animals. These are the stories that remind us we are human. We are not alone in the thick of it.

This newsletter is for women who feel the world keenly and want to connect with the stories of women like them.

Storytelling can restore us.

We must be willing to get rid of
the life we've planned, so as to have
the life that is waiting for us.
The old skin has to be shed before the new one can come.
